The
motor home is fine. The trip home was a little scary until I
settled down a little. You have to change your whole way of
driving.

How is the motor home??? |
no
problem -- it is so much easier to tow than our old one I can't
believe it. I backed it in to our garage the first time 90 degree
turn off the road!
thanks

How did the ride home go??

Hi
Alan.
Yes, we got everything home OK and loaded up all of our stuff.
We took it to the storage lot yesterday and it fits in the space
which is good, although it did take more effort to back it in
than I am used to. Thanks again for everything and let me know
how our old trailer is doing. Thanks, Scott.

Hi
Mike,
Before I start I want to give you some back ground. I am Married
and have three kids. My wife is a stay at home mom. We arranged
it by being very thrifty. As you know I work 6 days a week,
That's why I always drop the trailer off to you on Sundays.
My kids are very bright and well Loved. I contribute this to
the hard work that my wife does staying home with them. We saved
to buy this trailer, You do not know how much fun we have camping.
Its our way of spending quality family time.
Some times we get so caught up in daily activities that we forget
to just say Thanks.
So would you be kind enough to Thank the Rep from Thor. And
let him know that there are still people out here that greatly
appreciate kindness. I know that he did not have to cover this,
Tell him that I have some happy children here with giant smiles
knowing that we can continue our camping.
And as for you and Alan, Words just can not express the gratitude
that I owe you both. I just hope someday that I can personally
contribute something to your lives, like you have to me..
Once again...
Thank you, So much...

Hi Alan,

You really do not know how much I appreciate it....
Take care, and I will be down Sunday to pick it up...

| Dear
Alan,
I just wanted to drop you a note to let you
know how pleased I am with the service your staff gave me
last Friday. I had a Winnebago recall issue with my propane
tank leaking. I called Family RV and Phil took my call. He
asked a few questions and immediately ordered what I needed
to make the changes. I live about 5 hours away from Family
RV now and was coming into the area for a memorial service.
I brought the Journey in and Ray did an amazing job of juggling
work around to accommodate my needs. This is the second time
I have had this wonderful service from Ray. Your whole team
just pulls together and takes care of your customers.
Your staff at Family RV is the best I’ve
come across in my travels. Congratulations and thank you very
much.
Sincerely,
Richard Morwood

| It
was nice seeing you today. I stopped by after finishing with
Phil (paying for the DVD I had asked you install with the original
purchase), but couldn't find you afterward to thank you. There
is one last item to close out which is the shared revenue on
the August rental. I still don't know how that gets handled.
I thought a check might show up some time between August when
the rental occurred and now, but haven't seen anything. Let
me know what I should expect.
I want to compliment you, your business and
employees (Phil, Mike, Jerry, Indie, Woody, and others). You
folks have handled our purchase and subsequent requests so
well. Everything I had asked to be addressed was taken care
of completely. Thank you. You have a terrific crew. Everyone
is upbeat and positive and bends over backward to please.
You should have a very successful business for some time to
come with a business philosophy and crew like you have.
When you remarked that you had sold me the
unit for too little and I replied that you might get another
chance, I was serious. If I am in the market for another unit
anytime in the future, you are certain to get my business.
And if I know anyone that wants to purchase a new or used
RV, I'll send them to you (still working on my brother, haven't
given up there).
Thanks again,
Bruce and Kimberly Kackman

Many
thanks,
Dear
Mr. Cezar,
It has been a busy month since we took our first RV trip from
San Jose to Washington State. We are still talking about how
much fun we had and how great everything went! Our children
(ages 22 and 18) agree that we should have started Rving when
they were younger. Oh the places we could have gone....
We all thoroughly enjoyed ALL aspects of the trip. We were
nervous about being able to maneuver the 30 feet but it was
surprisingly easy. We also were nervous about "hooking
up" and using those hoses but it, too, was easy. Even
finding RV parks when we didn't have a reservation was a snap.
We can't wait to do the next one! Thank you for some great
memories!
Sincerely,
Mark and Sandy Lewis

| Hi
Mike and Alan: Just thought I would send you an email
to let you know that the 2002 Winnebago Journey DL that we
bought from you guys has been running great and virtually
problem free! We have over 12,000 miles on it at this point
with quite a few summer trips planned.
As always, if you need a reference for either a Winnebago
product or for Family RV, please feel free to use me. You
guys have been great to us and the coach has been fantastic.
Glad to hear you are doing well as is Family RV. Have a great
summer.

Hi
Alan
We have rented a 37ft bunkhouse trailer from you for the past
four summers June-Aug and are getting ready to place our order
again for the coming summer. I did want to pass on a few comments
on the trailer we had last summer which was a Hornet by Keystone.
It was nowhere near as easy a trailer to maintain and was a
marked step down from the models we had in previous years. I
think we have had Wildwoods and Tahoes in previous summers.
The main problem on the Hornet was that everything was just
cheaply built and kept coming apart. I had my maintenance guy
up there 2-3 times each week to make minor repairs and try to
keep things together until we turned it in at the end of the
summer. We really pride ourselves on taking GREAT care of anything
we rent and we try to keep everything well maintained - but
this Hornet really was too much work. Major challenges were
Screen Door - cheap, would not stay on tracks, hardware kept
loosening up, constant problem Bar Stool - we must have reglued
them a dozen times - just would not stay together Moulding
- easliy 20 different pieces of moulding popped off and required
re-glueing Gray Water Tank Indicator - constantly indicated
1/4 full Sparker on stove never worked Wall coverings - began
to separate & required regluing
Nothing really major but really a constant challenge to keep
everything up to our standard. I would strongly recommend
that you go back to other trailer companies and would request
that if possible we not have a Hornet this coming summer.
We talked a couple of years ago about the possibility of
you all obtaining one unit with the master bedroom rigged
with two twins instead of the queen. This would allow us to
have males & females in the trailer because we could put
2 males in the master and then 3 gals in the bunks. We would
really prefer this style if you could make it work in your
rental program.
Thanks again for all the help and support in the past 4 summers.
Your people are GREAT and we enjoy working with them. I have
recommended you to many folks and I think the The East Bay
Regional Park District has rented several units from you all.
Mike in maintenance is a super star and always very helpful.
We also really liked Karen when she was over in rental and
we miss working with her - but everyone else in rental is
great - Sabrina & Christina. Raquel in service is also
super. I have also talked a couple of times with Woody in
sales when I was thinking about buying a unit so I
could have the twins in the master bedroom and he is great.
You should be
proud of them all and they are a credit to your organization.
Thanks again for your help.

We
have hundreds of letters, e-mails, pictures of our service after
the sale. Price is important but value of the purchase is even
more important. What is value, when you get the service, product
quality and a fair price for this. Sometimes the lowest price
dealer is not the best value. Remember RV's need service, they
are not a throw away item. Look at the service department, talk
to the service people, because that is who you are dealing with
after the purchase!!!

We
have a Keystone Laredo 29GS 5th wheel trailer that we bought from
Best RV in Manteca. At the time that we bought our Keystone Laredo,
there was no one in the San Jose area selling them... bummer :-(
We
needed to have some work done on our 5th wheel and we heard about
Family RV in San Jose and we tried them. We have been very happy
with their service department.
Their
service department is very helpful, courteous and attentative. We
had no problem getting in touch with the service department at anytime,
whether it was by phone or email. They resolved our problems in
a timely manner too.
I would
definitely recommend them to anyone.
Thank
you,
Shirley and Michael Henson
