| Can you believe it, it's already
half way through 2010! I have seen a lot of repeat customers
this year as well as new on es.

Among the service work I have seen this year, there are a couple
of problems that have been present a lot. Water damage has been
the most costly and hardest to repair. Even units on our rental
fleet that we inspect regularly have had a few problems. Please,
inspect your RV often for potential water leaks.
Does your RV have an underbelly? An underbelly is a plastic
layer under the sub floor that protects the bottom of your RV
from the elements. This membrane, while protecting the bottom
of your RV, can also trap water that may have leaked from above
it! This allows the water to slowly eat away at the sub floor.
Of you have had a plumbing leak in your RV, it is a good idea
to let is check it out. Or, do it yourself. We have a special
tape to repair cuts in the underbelly that will not come off.
The other problem I have seen a large amount of is rodents.
Many RV's have been in storage longer than normal given the
state of our present economy. It is a good idea to periodically
check on your RV to make sure it is not being occupied by any
unwanted guests! Most rodent damage is very expensive and time
consuming to repair, and may be covered by your insurance policy.
For those of you that are on the road and actively using your
RV's, we have a great solar sale happening this month! Liberate
your trips from the noisy generator and dead batteries by adding
solar to your RV. Did you know that by adding solar, even without
upgrading your batteries, can more than double your batteries
run-down time? It can! make it last even longer by upgrading
batteries too! Email me with your solar questions and I will
be happy to answer them.
Have a great and adventure filled summer!
