What is the difference between State campgrounds, RV Parks & Resorts?
- State campgrounds offer basic facilities. Some of their campgrounds
do not have hook-ups, showers, or flush toilets, however they do offer
an unspoiled beauty of the outdoors that you would be hard pressed to
find anywhere else.
- RV Parks/Campgrounds are campgrounds that usually offer flush toilets,
communal showers, and some kind of swimming pool, pond, or lake.
- RV Resorts are more expensive and are great for people looking for
a higher end kind of camping. RV Resorts usually have a store on site,
amenities such as a lounge, maybe a miniature golf course.
