RVrentals heated up this summer with a business increase of 15% over last year. With fuel prices on the way down and the weather on the west coast perfect for Rving, our international customers saw California as an ideal destiny! This year most of our rentals were for a longer period of time with fewer miles traveled! Saving on fuel and putting less mileage on the vehicle is definitely the way to go. Traveling fewer miles per day resulted in a much higher attendance in the campgrounds - if you are not on the road you're in a campground. This is great for the renter, great for our business and also great for you if you are looking to buy a rental vehicle after the summer is over, with fewer miles and a larger discount on the price!

Why are we always totally booked in the summer and when it comes to the fall RV travel tapers off? Well, the schools are out and, due to many of their companies' policies, overseas travelers usually take their vacations in the summer months.

Fall is really the best time to travel because of the cooling breezes, changing autumn colors, less occupied campgrounds and much lower RV rental rates. Maybe traveling is something you always wanted to do but thought Rving was just not for you? Why not try it now? Sales of new motor homes and trailers have slowed mainly due to financing difficulties with many lenders. It started because of the housing slump and higher fuel prices, but with fuel prices stabilizing and the housing market better understood, lenders are now looking for perfect borrowers! Some lenders are not even issuing loans to people with perfect credit records. A few manufactures are experiencing hard times, cutting way back or closing, and some banks are getting out of the RV business completely.
